Library passes and other ways to save on family activities. These are conditional offers, not general free admission.
Check the final price and reservation instructions before booking. Each library and venue sets its own rules; living in Medford does not establish eligibility in another town.
Boston Family Days
Boston students can get first & second Sunday cultural passes.
Eligible Boston K–12 and Boston Pre-K students can receive a Boston Family Days pass for free admission for the child and up to two guests at participating museums, zoo, aquarium and historic sites on the first and second Sunday of each month through December 2026.
BPS and Boston Pre-K families are automatically signed up through BPS.
Other eligible Boston families can enroll online.
Some institutions may still require pre-registration or timed entry.

Passes by library city
Choose the city of the library issuing the pass, not the city of the museum. Each library has its own selection, eligibility rules and reservation calendar.
Covers the 10 launch towns: Medford, Somerville, Malden, Cambridge, Arlington, Melrose, Winchester, Stoneham, Everett and Boston. ZIP codes help select a library city; they do not confirm residency, card eligibility or pass availability. Your ZIP stays in this page and is not saved.
Medford library passes
Confirm library-card eligibility and pass availability with Medford Library. A pass reservation may be separate from reserving venue admission. Call the library: 781-395-7950.
Boston Children’s Museum
What you save
Half-price admission for up to four adults or children.
Who qualifies
A valid Medford Library pass reservation; confirm library-card eligibility with the library.
How to claim
Reserve the digital coupon, then follow its admission instructions.

Four visitors. Check available visit dates in the reservation calendar. No end date listed.
Somerville lists its cultural passes as available to all adults with a valid Minuteman library card. You may borrow one pass per day and each pass once per month.

Cambridge Public Library says you need a valid Minuteman library card to reserve. Passes can be reserved up to 30 days ahead: one pass per household per day, and the same museum once every 30 days.
Physical passes are picked up at the library location you choose, on a day it is open. A museum may also require its own timed ticket.

Arlington library passes
Robbins Library museum passes

Melrose library passes
Melrose Public Library passes
Passes can be reserved up to 4 weeks ahead: one pass per household per day, and some venues are limited to two passes a month. Melrose’s pass page does not say who can reserve, so confirm your card eligibility with the library.
Most passes are digital; a few must be picked up, and some must be returned before the library opens the next day. The pass is not a ticket and does not guarantee admission on a chosen date.

Winchester library passes
For Winchester residents
Winchester Public Library says its passes are for Winchester residents only. A household may reserve passes for two museums per week (Monday to Sunday).
