School-break programs

Looking for a day or week when school is closed? Browse the programs in our directory, then check your own school calendar. A camp date does not mean every district has the day off.

Summer planning: local starting points

• Medford Recreation summer programs — check the program listing for residency, session hours and extended-day options.
• Camp Six Acres, Medford — its website describes a day camp for children entering kindergarten through seventh grade. The registration information currently refers to 2026; it is not a 2027 opening date.
• Somerville’s SomerPromise summer guide — a city resource for local providers. Its linked summer guide currently covers 2026.
